At Belfast Dental Care, not only are we committed to providing a competitive benefit offering, we strive to maintain a safe, relaxed, and pleasant atmosphere for patients and employees alike. As a fully-modernized practice, we work as a team to foster business growth and to provide the highest standard of dental care to our diverse community. Read on to hear about some of our perks and benefits…
Our recipe for employment success here is simple: be yourself, bring your best to work every day, and have fun doing it. But we recognize success isn’t limited to having a job you love. You also need the tools (perks and benefits) which can help give you and your family the security and financial future desired.
Because we believe that supporting our employees, their families, and our community is central to our existence, BDC gives our people access to a world-class offering of benefits. Take a look at this partial list of our benefits and try not to be impressed:
And in addition to the impressive list of benefits already listed, every eligible employee also receives the following 100% company-paid benefits (that’s no cost to you):
We created Belfast Dental Cares Day (a day of free dental care) to provide dental care to Maine’s underserved communities—giving aid to the growing number of people who can't afford dental services. People who are unable to visit the dentist miss out on preventative dental care that could greatly help both their oral health and overall health. With Belfast Dental Cares Day, people who can't regularly visit the dentist can still improve the quality of their health!
Our approach to diversity is simple: it's about embracing everyone. From building a practice where all employees can bring their best selves to work to providing dental care that supports everyone in the community.
We have all been through a lot this past year. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to patient and employee safety. Before reopening the practice June 1, 2020, following an 11-week pandemic closure, we were busy working on your behalf to ensure our safety protocols meet or exceed government recommendations.
Here’s a sample of some of the changes we’ve made to help protect our patients and staff:
Our infection control protocols are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we think it’s a good idea to remind you about the infection control recommendations we follow, which include: the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We continuously monitor these agencies so that we are always up-to-date on any new guidance that may be issued.
